New law amending the laws of 1939 & 1963 adopted

An important change in the 1939 law relates to the conditions for the practice of the profession of architect by a legal person (firm) whereby the majority of architects required in both the capital and governance body is now just over 50%.

As regards the 1963 law the modification relates to the Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, concerning service providers who temporarily and occasionally practice the profession of architect in Belgium.
